HIT BY MOTOR-CAR

SMALL BOY INJURED Through being knocked down by a motor-car on the Great South Road, Manurewa, at about 5.30 p.m. yesterday, Bruce Justin Aitchison, aged five, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital suffering from severe injuries to his head. Th© motor-car, said to have been driven by Mr. F. Clark, of Mangere Road, Otaliuhu, was travelling along the road behind another car when the child stepped off the footpath between the two vehicles, and was struck by Mr. Clark’s car. The child, who was attended by Dr. Bridgman, was removed to his home and later to the hospital. His condition this morning is reported to be satisfactory.
