l rom Our Own Correspondent THAMES Today. The annual cricket matches between the Hamilton and Thames High tochools senior and junior elevens were played at Thames on Friday and Saturday. The Hamilton bovs won both games, the senior team winning oy eight wickets and four runs, and the junior got home bv a margin of 18 runs In the senior match Thames batted first and put on 67, w. Baker and J. -Montague scoring 19 runs each Ham“ton replied with 123, of which total Bennett got SS, I-. Keat 17, and WestI\ a^er !*-• Thames’s second strike saw 15S on the board, W. Baker (not out) setting 63, E. TtvohiU 23, R. McKenzie la, and J. Montague 12. The scores in the junior game were Hamilton, first innings, 104 (West 23 Burn 29, Paterson 3 5). Thames made 100 (A Head 15. A. Delamore 40, Coxhead 14). Hamilton made 79 in their second strike and Thames 60.
