COLLEGE RIFLES CLUB Th« annual meeting of the College Rifles Rugby Football Club was held last evening, the president, Lieut.-Col, T. H. Dawson. C.M.G., G.8.E., presiding over an attendance of 60. The annual report reviewed the progress of the club last season, particularly in the lower grades, and held out excellent prospects of success this winter. The balance sheet showed tli€ finances of the club to be in a satisfactory position. The election of officers resulted as follows: —Patron. Mr. C. T. Major; prsident, Lieut.-Col. GRAFTON RUGBY CLUB Mr. Arthur Pauli presided at the annual meeting o£ the Grafton Rugby I Football Club. The balance sheet showed a credit balance of £2O 18s lOd, which was a drop of £7 from last year's balance sheet. The falling off of revenue was due to the fact that only 16 slbscriptions were collected as against 28 for for the previous year. A vote of thanks was accorded the retiring secretary, Mr. A. Bruce, who is leaving Rotorua, for his efficient KAHUKURA RUGBY CLUB From Our Own Correspondent ROTORUA, Today. At the annual meeting of the Kahukura Rugby Football Club the report disclosed a small balance in hand at the close of last season. The club had won the Gardner Seven-a-Side Shield and were runners-up in the senior competition, and won the Mitchell Shield. . The following were elected officers for the year:—Patron, Mr. W L. C. Ryan; ciub captain, N. Steele. It was decided to enter a senior and junior team for the seven-a-side tournament on Easter Monday.
