FINED FOR LANGUAGE Ji \\asn t me that used the language, declared Robert John Headon who was charged at the Police Court this morning with using obscene language and drunkenness. He was fined a total of £3. Headon, a. labourer, 46, admitted being found drunk in Hobson street but pleaded not guilty on the major count. Constable Shannon was; positive that lie had heard accused shouting and using obscene language. “Headon has been three times convicted of drunkenness within the last six months and he appeared in January,” added SubInspector McCarthy. “So he is just starting off again.” commented Mr. F. K. Hunt. S.M. Headon was fined £l. in default three days’ imprisonment foi* drunkenness, and £2, in default seven days, for using the language.
