KILLED AT CROSSING
YOUTH AND YOUNG SISTER CAUGHT BY TRAIN END TO SUNDAY SPIN Reed. 11 a.m. HOBART, Today. Jesse Lawson, aged 19 years, took his eight-year-old sister for a ride in a motor-car. On the way home the car was struck by a train on a level crossing near Devonport. The child was killed instantly, and the youth died a few hours later.
