Many Dancers Attend Popular Cabaret ENJOYABLE EVENING The long windows at Dixieland were thrown open to the sea breezes on Saturday evening, when a large crowd of dancers spent an enjoyable time at the popular cabaret. Darkest red dahlias were arranged on the tables, and made the cubicles look very attractive. AMONG THE DANCERS Airs Percy Free was wearing- a black beaded georgette gown, with an ivorv yoke. Airs. Anscombe CSydney) chose a bouffant frock of turquoise blue taffeta. Airs. A. E. Moore was wearing ivory * a lV e * with uneven . hemline. Ali-s. Ray Spedding (Rotorua) had on a smart frpek of black taffeta. Airs. C. S. Fletcher, who wore a frock of deep blue taffeta with a giz*dle of diamente. Airs. J. S. Dodds chose a frock of phloxpink taffeta. Airs. Emmanuel was wearing a gown of scarlet and gold oriental lame. Airs. Atkinson was wearing a frock of ; scarlet georgette and tulle. Airs. Little had on flame satin ■with a black Spanish shawl. Airs. C. Hutchinson was in almond- ! green polka dotted net. Aliss Ailsa Lewis chose a frock of black i and gold lame. Aliss Jocelyn Bloomfield had on a j cedar rose net frock with ecru lace. Aliss G. Leatlierbarrow’s frocl: was of 1 black geoi'gette relieved with touches of gold. Aliss Leslie Roberton had on sand-dust shot taffeta. Aliss Diana Foster (Wellington) was frocked in cameo-pink frilled taffeta and silver embroideries. Aliss Peggy Upton was wearing cardinal red georgette and satin. Aliss M. AlcFarlane’s frock was of honey shaded taffeta. Aliss B. Johnston was wearing black lace ovez* palest pink georgette. Aliss Barbara Pierce was in a gown of pastel pink frilled georgette and tulle. IN BLACK AND PINK Miss Burch had on a frock of black and pink floral georgette frilled with tulle. AJiss B. Marks was in silver lace over pale pink satin. Aliss Af. Matheson (Wellington) was gowned in powder blue frilled tulle. Aliss Betty Sutcliffe (Marton) had chosen a pretty frock of red georgette. treuse green floral ninon relieved with emerald ornaments. Aliss G. Stewart was in a pale pink satin frock with large bow on the hip. Aliss Alarjorie Hay was wearing a frock of pale pink geoi’gette with ecru lace. Aliss McNaught chose a period frock of leaf green taffeta. Aliss Hanson was in white and silver beaded georgette. Aliss Bertha Thompson had on a frock of jade sequined georgette. Aliss Gomby chose a frock of black Souple satin. Miss Joan Lyons was wearing white chenille georgette with pearl embroidered corsage. Aliss Gladys Brown had on a frock of maize gold lace. Miss Clyde Griffin was in beige lace over pink satin. Aliss Whitford was frocked in white georgette. Aliss Alarjorie Kirker’s frock was of flame corded taffeta. A white and floral taffeta gown was chosen by Aliss Joan Cousins. Aliss Eleanor Upton was wearing a nile Teen beaded frock.
Aliss Gei'aldine ATasters had on a black and silver sequined georgette frock. Aliss Rogers chose a gown of delphinium blue georgette. Aliss AlcVickers was wearing a frock of white z'ipple ninon.
