GENERAL ELECTION SOON IN' WEST AUSTRALIA CLOSING OF NOMINATIONS PERTH, Friday. Nominations in connection with the general election next month for the Western Australian Legislative Assembly closed today. The Premier, Mr. P. Collier: the Minister of Mines, Mr. S. W. Munsie; the Minister of Goldfields and Agricultural Water Supplies, Mr. J. Cunningham: and the Minister of Works, Mr. A. McCallum, have been returned unopposed. There will be no contests in 39 electorates.
