INSECT BITES
For allaying tlie irritation and inflammation caused by the bites of sandflies and mosquitoes, the best and most easily applied remedy is Epsom salts. A teaspoon diluted in a tablespoon of water, and dabbed on the inflamed spots, will quickly and effectively afford relief. The most convenient way to prepare the lotion is to mix a packet of the salt in a cup of water, bottle it, and keep it ready for immediate use. People who go camping, surfing, and picnicking should never fail to pack a bottle of this cure in their bags.
