MOTOR-CYCLE HITS COW

INJURIES TO RIDER From Our Own Correspondent OPOTIKI, Friday. While riding a motor-cycle home from the High School dance last evening, a young man, Stewart Roberts, collided heavily with a cow which suddenly ran on to the roadway. Roberts was admitted to the hospital suffering concussion and other injuries. The motor-cycle was considerably damaged. Roberts, who is a wellknown racing motorist, was to have left Opotiki today to compete at the Takapuna motor races tomorrow.
