TE AROHA WEDDING
MAID IN SHELL PINK BEER—JACKSON A pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Mark’s Church, Te Aroha, by the Rev. R. L. Connolly, when Dorothy, third daughter of Mrs. Jackson, and the late James Jackson, one of Te Aroha West’s oldest settlers, was married to Cecil Clive, third son of Mr. and the late Mrs. C. Beer, of Auckland. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her brother-in-law, Air. A. O. Donoghue, wore white crepe de chine with uneven hem-line and trimmed with diamente buckle; her veil was of silk tulle. The bride was attended by her cousin, Aliss Alious Farrands, who was frocked in shell pink crepe de chine, with a hat of pink and silver to match. Air. H. Geldarch was best man. At the reception, Airs. Jackson received her guests wearing a frock of royal blue jersey silk with a hat to tone, and carried a bouquet of blue flowers.
