CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR
FAREWELL TO MISS STREET A farewell to Miss Jennie Street, whose visit To New Zealand has extended over the past 12 months, will be held in the Baptist Tabernacle next Wednesday evening. The meeting will be a rally of all the Auckland Christian Endeavour societies. The Rev. Lionel B. Fletcher, president of the New Zealand Christian Endeavour Union, will preside, and representative Christian Endeavours will speak. Miss Street has. acted as honorary field secretary for the New Zealand Union, and has addressed meetings and conferences in all parts of the Dominion. A number of new societies and unions have been formed as a result. She leaves for Australia by the Ulimaroa on Friday for England, and while in Australia will address a number of meetings. On her return to England she will be engaged in preparatory work for the British celebrations of the Jubilee of Christian Endeavour, which will take place in London in May.
