FIRM REFUSES LEAVE
Reed. 10.30 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. Squadron-Leader Kingsford Smith §ails for the United States and England today, to make arrangements for his trans-Atlantic flight.
Flight-Lieutenant C. T. P. Ulm has been refused leave by the Australian National Airways, and consequently he cannot accompany Kingsford Smith.
