OBSTETRIC APPEAL

MEETING CONVENED BY MAYORESS OF PUKEKOHE Pukekohe was visited by Miss Alice Basten on Tuesday in connection with the Obstetrical Fund Appeal. She conferred with a meeting of women presided over by Mrs. F. Perkins, Mayoress. A provisional committee was set up with power to add to its number. Mrs. PL. Burrow's was elected president and Mrs. F. Perkins secretary and treasurer of the local fund. Tentative boundaries were defined. The meeting felt that there would be no difficulty in raising Pukekohe’s quota.
