BRIDE AT ELLERSLIE WEARS PRETTY GOWN OF PALE PINK LACE
BAKER—SIMPSON At Christ Church, Ellerslie. recently, the marriage took place of Miss Elsie Simpson. Auckland, formerly of Napier, to Mr. F. Baker, of Tolaga Bay. Tho Rev. R. J. Stanton performed the ceremony. The bride wore a charming l frock of pink silk lace, which dipepd to a train at the back. A lace coatee in the same shade was worn. Her veil was caught at the head with clusters of orange blossoms, and she carried a sheaf of pale pink chrysanthemums and roses. Mrs. V. Roscoe, the bridegroom’s sister, as matron of honour, wore a pretty frock of orchid georgette, with a picture hat to match, and carried a sheaf of lemon and apricot dahlias and roses. Little Rhondda Roscoe, in a dainty frock of green marabout and silver,
was train-bearer, and her bouquet was of green and silver rosebuds. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bridegroom’s sister.
