SCHEME FOR HOME IMPORTS LOXDOX, Tuesday. The “Daily Mail” says the Cabinet at a special meeting considered a scheme for the establishment of a National Imports Board to control grain, meat and other foodstuffs. It is understood, however, that there is no prospect of the adoption of the scheme as Mr. Snowden. Chancellor of the Exchequer, arid other Ministers are opposed to it on financial grounds.
