WEEK-END CARNIVAL

ARRANGEMENTS AT MANGERE A second monster carnival will be held at the Mangere Domain this week-end. On Saturday afternoon a procession will leave Royal Oak for the Domain, where a sports programme will be held. In the evening two Maori troupes will give hakas, poi dances and concert items, and in addition there will be fancy dancing and a concert and band programme. There will also be dancing on the green. On Sunday evening a sacred band concert will be held, and on Monday and Tuesday evenings there will be dancing and musical programmes. The domain will be specially lighted and all the usual sideshows will be there. ______
