DRAPERY SHOP THEFT ARREST MADE AT THAMES From Our Own Correspondent THAMES, Today. When Martin’s drapery shop was broken into on Saturday night and a sum of money, incl' iding a number of half-sovereigns, was stolen, the burglar left no clues behind. On Monday the police were notified that half-sovereigns were being taken at hotels and yesterday afternoon Augustus Arns, a carpenter, aged 39, was arrested on a charge of drunkenness. He was also charged with breaking into Martin’s shop and stealing £33 In money. Accused appeared at the Police Court today and was remanded on bail.
