S.P.W.C. MEETING

FORMATION OF NEW BRANCH

A meeting of the executive committee of the New Zealand Society for the Protection of Women and Children was held at the Wellesley Chambers yesterday afternoon. Mr. A. J. Stratford presided. The inspector’s report, showed that a large number of necessitous cases had been dealt with by the society. The proposal to form a branch of the society in Hamilton was discussed and ratified.
