SAMOA APPOINTMENT
NEW NATIVE SECRETARY FROM U.S. FOR AMERICAN TERRITORY SAN FRANCISCO, Thursday. Mr. Justice Henry Wood left by the Ventura today to assume the duties of Secretary of Native Affairs in American Samoa, and to reorganise the system of Government, preparatory to a survey by Congress.
