REAL ESTATE INSTITUTE’S CHANGES An extraordinary general meeting of the Real Estate Institute of Auckland has decided to amend the organisation’s rules to admit to full membership at an annual fee of £1 Is, without entrance charge, any person who has passed the examination of the Real Estate Institute of New Zeala.nd. On beginning practice as a licensed agent, an examined man will be called upon to pay the ordinary subscription Another innovation is the registration of land salesmen. Every member of the institute must register all salesmen in his employ. The president, Mr. W. J. Potter, was chairman at the meeting, and an instructive address was given by Mr F L. G. West, president of the Auckland Law Society.
