CHASE OVER ROOFS
EXCITING SEQUEL TO HOTEL ROBBERY SHOTS FIRED BY POLICE Reed. 10.5 a.m. SYDNEY, Today. Seven shots were fired by the police during a thrilling chase after a thiei following the robbing of a safe at Tattersall’s Hotel. A sum of £I,OOO was taken. One man led the chase over the roofs of several buildings and was finally captured after a desperate struggle. A second man was arrested in a room at his hotel.
