SAMOA QUIET
CONFERENCE WITH MAU PROCEEDING NO RESULTS YET APIA, Wednesday. The conference between .he Administrator of Western Samoa, Mi. S. S \llen, the New Zealand Minister of Defence, the Hon. J. G. CoDbe, and the Mau is proceeding. The conference met yesterday and this morning and will meet again this afternoon Beyond the conversational stage nothing of importance has transpired. Tho territory is quiet. There are large bodies of the Mau in Apia and the surrounding districts.
