PRESENTATION MADI

As a mark of appreciation, delegates Attending’ the Libraries Conference, yesterday made a presentation of fieldglasses to the retiring honorary secretary and treasurer. Mr. 11. Baillie, of Wellington, who has given entlius- • istio service since the inception of the Libraries' Association in 1910. in making tho presentation, tho retiring president, Miss E. Melville, said the association greatly regretted losing such a capable secretary as Mr. Baillie, who had been instrumental in bringing the association to its strong position. It was decided to make Mr. , Baillie an honorary member of the association.
