CRUISING CLUB’S EVENTS ENTRIES AND HANDICAPS The annual regatta of the Ponsonby Cruising Club takes place on th< Waitemata Harbour tomorrow afternoon, when events will be contested for all yacht classes from third class down\va rd. By courtesy of Mr. E. J. Kelly the cruising launch- Linda will be used as flagship and will bo moored off St. Mary’s Bay. All boats must bo financial, except Z class boats, which will race in any event specially placed on the programme*. A new course has been drawn up for classes V, S, T, X and Y. The three-flag system of starting will be em ployed. The officials will be:—Starter, Mr. AV. Joynt: judge, Air. E. J. Kelly; timekeeper, Mr. AV. D. Ross; recorder, Mr. H. R. Arthur; assistants, Messrs. T. Quinn and 11. Kirkham. Details of racing, entries and handicaps are as follow: and E. classes, to start at' 2.30. Course: From starting line between flagship and mark moored south, thence to Bastion on port, thence to White Light on starboard, thence to Bastion on starboard, finishing at starting line.—Queenie, scr. Speedwell, 21m; Gloriana, 16m; Maybelle, 18m; Iris, 21m; Cynthia, 25m; Alahoe, 27m; Dolphin, 30m. H and I classes, 2.3 S p.m. Course: From starting line between flagship and mark moored south, thence to Resolution on port, thence to White Light on starboard, thence to Resolution on starboard, finishing at starting line.—Starloch, scr; Starlight, lm; Omatere, 2m; Spray, 41m; AVhy Not, 9m. L and N classes, 2.46 p.m. Course: Same as that for class H.—Rakoa, scr; Valerie, 2m; Kokiri, 4m; Otira, 6m; Mowai, 8m; Matariki, 91m; Alalua, 11m. V class, 2.54. Course: From starting line between flagship and mark moored south, thence to Rona Buoy on port, thence to Watchman mark on port, thence to Shoal Bay mark on starboard, thence to mark moored off Western tide deflector on starboard, twice round.— Surprise, scr; Wild Wave, 6m; Rantil, 8m; Sun, Sim; Scud, Belle, Dm; Desdemona, 11m; Sea Crest, Rita, 20m. S class, to start at 3.2. Course; Same as that for class V. —Mistral, scr; Aratu, 8m; Sceptre, 10m; Rangitira, 11m; Rangitiki, 13m; Bungaree, llm; Sea Sleigh, 16m. T and X classes, to start at 3.10. Course: Same as that for class V.—Shalimar, scr; Ramon, 2m; Marie, 6m; Manu, 9m; Rangi, Resolute, 19m; Rita T., 23m. Y class, to start at 3.18.
