GOVERNMENT ATTACKED

CONSERVATIVES TABLE CENSURE MOTION EARLY DEBATE SOUGHT LONDON, Tuesday. In the House of Commons today the Conservatives tabled a motion of censure on which they are seeking an early debate. The motion deplores the existing depression iu trade and the increase in unemployment, which, it says, Viave resulted from the Government’s policy. It regrets the Government’s refusal not only not to extend safeguarding and Imperial preference, but even to declare its intentions about the existing safeguarding, McKenna, silk and other duties, thereby increasing the state of uncertainty and distress.
