FAST SPEEDS PROMISED
WESTERN SPRINGS RACES Aucklanders have been hoping for w eeks to see a match race between the two fastest Australian riders who have yet appeared on the Western Springs cinder track, Frank Pearce and Charlie Spinks. These two will be seen in match races and in contests against Aucklanders on Saturday night. On the same programme wib be the first of a series of three competitions for the Pascoe Cup, which is to be contested by local riders only.
