DETAILS OF NEW YORK CONTRACT NEW YORK, Tuesday. A syndicate composed of the Bank of America, Messrs. Blair and Company, E. fr. Rollins and Sons and ITalsey, Stuart and Company, state (hat they have concluded a contract with the City of Sydney for a loan of from 5,000,000 to 10,000,000 dollars. The term will be 2 5 years with interest at 5} per cent. The loan will !"• issued in gold sinking fund bonds, which it is expected to offer shortly at about 90. With accrued interest the loan is expected to yield about 6.30 per cent, until maturity. The bonds will mature in 195-5, and will be redeemable from February, 1940 on any interest date at par, as a whole only.
