MEETING ON SATURDAY From Our Own Correspondent TE PUKE. Today. The sports meeting of the primary schools in the Te Puke school district was held on the Te Puke Domain on Saturday last to compete for the silver challenge cups donated by the Herbert Smith Trust. Eight schools competed and the racing was keenly contested Following are the results: Boys’ Championship, 100yds.—E. Donovan (Te Puke), 1; J. Richmond (Te Matai), 2; Miki Paul (Te Matai). 3. Girls' Championship, 75yds.—Ivy Webb (Te Puke). 1; Peggy Hemphill (Te Puke). 2; Eileen Robertson (Te Puke), 3. Boys’ Relay Race. 100yds each.— Paengaroa (Fountain. McDowell. Conway. Partridge). 1: Te Matai, 2: Te Puke. 3. Girls’ Relay Race. 75yds each.—Te Puke ( r f. Webb, P. Hemphill, E. Robertson, B. Johnston). 1; Matata, 2; Paengaroa, 3.
