TENNIS CLUB SPORTS
An enjoyable day was spent on Sunday, March 2, by the Prince’s Tennis Club, Devonport. at Mr. spring’s farm, Kumeu. The arrangements were made by the committee, and following are the sports results: Men's members’ race: T. Byrnes. Women’s members’ race: Miss T. Beestou. Children’s race: Edna Tyson. Whistling competition: Miss U. Williamson and Mr. Davies. Men’s handicap race: C. Eagles. Women’s handicap race: Miss M. Williamson. Three-legged race: Miss P. Oliver and C. Eagles. Married women’s race: Mrs. Davies. Relay race: Mr. R. Buchan’s team.
