GAOL AND FLOGGING
CONSTABLE’S ASSAILANT PUNISHED SHOOTING DURING ARREST MELBOURNE, Friday. Harold F. Wilson, ship’s steward, was convicted today of shooting and wounding a constable who was arresting him. He was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment and ordered to receive a flogging of 12 strokes.
