VAGRANT GIVEN CHANCE Arrested while sleeping on an empty section in Albert Street, Waverley Green appeared at the Police Court this morning. He was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upon, Mr. F. Iv. Hunt. S.M., suggesting that he return to the country whence be came. Green, alias William Green, a bootmaker aged 56, pleaded guilty to being idle and disorderly, having insufficient visible means of support. Staff-Captain Holmes, of the Salvation Army, said accused was in need of a clean-up and had consented to go to the army home at Epsom.
