AORANGI’S PASSENGERS EXAMINED FURTHER TESTS FOR SOME More than SO o£ the Aorangi’s passengers, who were released yesterday from quarantine on JVlotuihi Island, reported at the Health Department s offices for examination this morning. The passengers were allowed out of isolation under surveillance and the examination to which they were subjected was merely a precautionary measure. Both Dr. T. J.. Hughes and Dr. Chesson, medical officers of health, were engaged for several hours this morning in overhauling the passengers as they trooped in, * attention being directed mainly to the likelihood of infection by contact and the taking of the vaccine. The majority of those whoso old vaccination marks showed plainly and on whom the new inoculation was satisfactory, were discharged. but it is stated that others will have to report for further examinaThere were no signs of infection in any of the passengers examined. Ten more passengers, who have been isolated on Motuihi Island, will be brought to Auckland on Monday. A boat will leave the city at S o clock for the island. . The passengers are: miss w. a Creamer, Mrs. W. E, Cummings, Mrs. M Diplock. Miss M. Diplock Mr A Diplock, Mr. R. F. Hartley, Mr. M. A. Nash. Mrs. Z. B. Nash. Mr. R. Thorsby, Mr. S. K. Webb. ______
