WEDDING AT PAPAKURA
• bridesmaids wear POINTED FROCKS OF APRICOT GEORGETTE MORRISON—LAING j a wedding of interest in the Karaka and Tuakau districts took place on Wednesday afternoon in Christ Church.
Papakura, when Eunice Amy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. P. Laing, Karaka, was married to Mr. Ivan Joseph Morrison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Morrison, of Clevedon. The bride, who looked very charming, wore a frock of ivory georgette, dipping to the ankles in points hemmed with transparent silk net. A large tulle bow with silver spray trimmed the side. The veil was of brussels net, liandembroidercd with lilies of the valley and a shower bouquet of white and pastel shaded flowers was carried. The bridesmaids, Miss Doris Laing, sister of the' bride, and Miss Marie Jagusch, of Auckland, were dressed alike in frocks of apricot georgette falling in points trimmed with silver and tulle bow. The headdresses were of-frilled tulle and they carried shower bouquets to tone. The flower girls were little Joan j Laing and Ila Morrison, who wore pretty little frocks of lemon and puw- : der blue georgette respectively. The skirts were in handkerchief points j trimmed with tiny flowers. They wore J tulle headdresses and carried posies to tone. Mr. Charles Morrison attended his I brother as best man and Mr. Gordon Morrison as groomsman.
The vicar of Papakura, the Rev. }V. C. Wood, officiated. Miss (J. Laing, of Auckland, presided at the organ. A reception was held in the Paragon Theatre, where Airs. F. P. Laing, mother of the bride, received her guests wearing a pretty frock of nattier blue flat crepe de chine relieved with grey and wore a bankok hat. She carried a posy of autumn-tinted dahlias. Airs. G. F. Morrison, mother of the bridegroom, wore a lrock of navy crepe de chine with beige trimmings, with felt and pan velour hat to tone.

OTOROHANGA WEDDINGS GREASLEY—WORSFOLD On Wednesday evening at St. Bride’s Anglican Church. Otorohanga, Hilda •Lucy, daughter of Mr. and .Mrs. J-’rari 1: VV orsfoid, of Alaihiihi, was married to Richard Hulland Greasley, son of Air. and Mrs. Greasley, of Hampshire, Lngiand, by the Rev. Treharre .Philiips. The bride was given away by her father. Mr. H. Worsfold, brother of the bride, was best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride's parentsLEE—CORBAN On Thursday ■ afternoon at St. Briden's Anglican Church, Otorohanga the marriage took place of Helena! widow of the late Mr. C. Corban, and Mr. ITarry Lee. Tile Rev. J Treliarne Phillips performed the ceremony. Tlie bride entered the church on the arm of her nephew. Mr. George Eassey. Mr. Michael Howley was in attendance as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride.
