FINAL DIVIDEND

BANK OF AUSTRALASIA LONDON, Thursday. The directors of the Bank of Australasia have declared a final dividend of 7s a share,- free of tax. This, plus the- interim dividend of 7s, paid on October 4, makes the distribution for the year 14 per cent., a figure that has been maintained since 1926. Last year’s report showed net profits amounting to £675,192, a record for the bank. The dividend absorbed £595,000, which was £35,000 more than in the previous year, as the additional £500,000 of capital, issued in April, 1925, received the final dividend. The dividend payable out of the 1928-29 profits is £630,000.
