GIRL IN FEAR
WORMED OVER YOUNG MAN MISCHIEF CHARGE ■When James Alfred Essex Grundy appeared at the Police Court this morning charged with committing mischief, Senior-Sergeant O’Grady reminded the Bench that his last appearance before the court had been largely the result of his following a *irl about with a revolver. Grundy, a labourer, aged 22, was charged with committing mischief by ’wilfully damaging a window fitting valued at 7s 6d, belonging to Joseph Taylor. Mr. Vallance entered a plea not guilty and a week’s remand waa agreed upon. The said Grundy behaved himself well after being ordered to com© up for sentence with - jj 12 months if called upon. When that period was up, however, he had started all over again. The girl was Jn rear of him and it seemed that he *aa unbalanced. He had some letters belonging to th© girl and she had not toe slightest idea how he had obtained them. Grundy: I have not seen the girl for time. Mr. p. K. Hunt, S.M.: If you go near you will get six months. 7* r ‘ ’' assured the court that ®re was a full explanation and bail allowed in one surety of £ 50.
