One of the heaviest earthquakes experienced here in many years occurred at 12.35 this afternoon, lasting about 45 seconds. It began with a gentle motion, finishing with heavy shakes, causing buildings to rock. No damage is reported. TREMOR AT GISBORNE Press Associatioyi GISBORNE, Today. An earth tremor was registered at Gisborne at 12.35 p.m., lasting several seconds. No damage is reported.
