TIES FOR CUPS
NEWTON SCHOOL SWIMMING In a competition at the Tepid Baths yesterday afternoon for the Maud Cup, Newton Central and Newton West primary schools tied with 16 points each. A tie was also declared in the Jones Relay Cup, Newton West winning the boys’ division and Newton Central the girls’ event. Results: — Standard VI.
