AUSTRALIAN FARMERS
VISIT TO FRANKTON IMPRESSED WITH METHODS From Our Own Correspondent HAMILTON, Today. The Australian dairying delegation visited the Frankton butter, casein and butterbox factories of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company this morning. Voluminous notes were taken on the different processes by the reporters on the special research committees. From comments made generally It is understood that the manufacturing methods of dairy produce in this country are 25 years ahead of those in Australia. Another thing which greatly impressed the visitors was the elimination of waste at the factories. Various private farms were visited to give the Australians the idea of the results of intensive top dressing. Cambridge and Matangi will be visited this afternoon.
