A patient in the "Waikato Hospital, Mr. John Simpson, 64, married, wandered from the institution on Tuesday night and was found dead in a gully 100 yards from the hospital late yesterday afternoon, after an arduous search by police and staff. Mr. Simpson, who had been an inmate for six weeks, wandered away in his night attire. An inquest is to be held.
