AIRMEN AT AKYAB
NEW ZEALANDERS MAKE PROGRESS FLIGHT OF PIPER AND KAYE Reed. 10 a.m. RANGOON, Tuesday. The New Zealand airmen, FlyingOfficers Piper and . Kay, arrived at Akyab on Monday evening and left this morning for Rangoon. A previous message from Delhi announced that the airmen, who are attempting to fly from England to Australia, arrived at Allahabad on Monday. They proposed to leave for Calcutta the following day. They were delayed by fog at Hyderabad. Akyab is the chief town of Arakan, in Burma, on the east side of the island of Akyab.
