WESTERN SPRINGS RIDERS Two more Australian champions will he seen in action at the Western feprings stadium next Saturday. They are Jock Hollis and Eric Whittle, both well known on the Sydney speedways They will ride on only one night in Auckland. At Wentworth speedway on Saturday week, Hollis carried off the chamDionslnp honours and also established a track record. Whittle has been riding brilliantly against the leading speedsters at both Wentworth and Speedway Roya.l. On Saturday night, at the Kilbirnie Speedway. Wellington. Frank Pearce made a mile record of 1.3 8 2-5. He will bo back in . Auckland on Saturday week and will ride in a special match race against Charlie Spinks This morning Miss Fay Taylour went South by car to ride at Christchurch. &iid later at Dunedin's new speedway. She is almost certain to return to Western Springs before leaving for Australia.
