A business man visiting 'Whangarei had an alarming experience on Saturday at Kamo Springs. 110 entered the main baths for a swim, but after he had been in the water for a few minutes he began to feel dizzv. and just managed to reach the* side oi the bath and et out into the open air unclothed. Once in the fresh air, he soon recovered from the effects of the mineral fumes, which evidently were particularly strong at tho time. . • x , Ho complains that before he entered the baths no warning was issued as to anv possible danger. Had he not realised his predicament in time to reach fresh air. ho says ho would undoubtedly Drive lost his life, as no one was near to give assistance.
