OTAHUHU TROTS
CARNIVAL FINISHES ON WEDNESDAY The Otahuhu Trotting Club's carnival which opened so successfully on Saturday at Alexanandra Park, will reach finality on Wednesday. The second day was postponed from today so as not to clash with the final day of the England-New Zealand cricket test. The opening day's sport was of such an interesting nature that those who witnessed the many stirring contests will want to be on hand again on Wednesday. Many others kept away by big counter-attractions will also make a point of visiting Epsom on Wednesday to witness the high standard of trotting that will again be in evidence. With the first day incident* and form fresh in mind the public should have a good guide in making their selections for Wednesday. A complete review of the card by “Abaydos” will appear in tomorrow’s issue of The Sun. -Following are the acceptances: SUBURBAN HANDICAP Of £200; 2 miles: limit 4.55.
