YOUTHS’ BAD LANGUAGE Warning them that they were liable to 12 months’ imprisonment, Mr. W. R. McKean, S.M., imposed no further penalty on three youths whg appeared at the Police Court this morning on charges of using obscene language. They had been locked up since their arrest in the early hours of Sunday morning. They were George Henry Nelson Hutchinson, a labourer, aged 19, Herbert Sperry Connolly, an upholsterer, aged 18, and Ralph Edward Shrimpton, a packer, aged 21. They pleaded guilty to using obscene language on the Great North Road on Sunday.
