SHOW AT WAIPU
ALL SECTIONS IMPROVED JUDGES PRAISE EXHIBITS F rom Our Own Correspondent IVHAXGAREI, Thursday. The 44th annual show of the "Waipu A. and P. Association was held at Waipu today in fine weather. The attendance was excellent, and the entries good in all classed. The judges of all sections expressed the opinion that there was a big improvement in the whole show. The judge in the sheep section remarked particularly on the fine class of Romney rams exhibited, which was easily the best class in the section Ryelands were -also of a high standard and showed a big increase in entries. There was a big yarding of fat sheep and some really fine exhibits. The cattle section was not up to the standard of previous years, although the entries were numerous. In the grade section, the Shorthorns judge considered the bull that secured first prize could take a place in any show ring. In the fat cattle section, steers and cows were excellent.
