BRIDE-TO-BE IS GUEST OF HONOUR A very enjoyable kitchen evening was given by Miss Lilian Bradley at her home, Mercer Road, Herne Bay, in honour of Miss Doris Fraser, whose marriage takes place next week. Items were given by Miss Doreen D’Authreau, Ine Abdallah and Misses Cissy and Mattie Patterson. Among those present were: Miss Doris Fraser, who had on a frock of buttercup georgette with taffeta hip bow; Miss Bradley, in a frock of lemon and blue chenille with uneven hem line; Mrs. Bradley, in black and amber ring velvet; Mrs. W. Gash, who chose shell pink georgette with silver bolero; Mrs. J. Merrick, in powder blue georgette, with uneven hem of silver lace; Mrs. W. Miller, wearing floral georgette; Miss Doreen D’Authreau, who chose eau de nil georgette and ecru lace; Miss Ine Abdallah, who was in ivory beaded georgette. Miss Roma Fraser, who wore a jade sequin frock; Miss Violet Bartram, lemon georgette; Miss Doi'othy Wright, whose frock was of peach georgette, petalled skirt and turquoise velvet bow; Miss T. Bishop, oriental and rose georgette; Miss Cissie Patterson, wearing a frock of mauve crepe de chine, with silver embroidery; Miss Madeline Hayes, who had on shrimp taffeta relieved with silver lace; Miss Mavis Patterson, whose frock was of jade georgette and ecru lace; Miss Una Perkins, in royal blue and black marocain; Miss Wyn. Derrick, wearing a frock of rose ring velvet.
