EVENING WEDDING

TWO ATTENDANTS FROCKED IN PASTEL GREEN HART—WHEATON A very charming gown was chosen last evening by Miss Vera Mildred Wheaton, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E, J. Wheaton, of Chamberlain Street, Grey, Lynn, for her wedding to Mr. Alan Marshall Hart, elder son of Mrs. and the late Mr. G. Hart, of Glenalvon, Waterloo Quadrant. The ceremony was performed at St. Matthew’s Church by Canon C. Grant Cowan. The bridal gown* of ivory satin beaute was slim-fitting 1 , with yoke of ivory chiffon, outlined with si Iyer, and the flared skirt fell into points edged "with, narrow satin frills. The tulle veil, which formed a train, was petalled and embroidered in floral design. She carried a bouquet of white dahlias, with just a touch of deep orange. Mr. "Wheaton gave his daughter away. In attendance as bridesmaids were Miss Marjorie Fraser and INliss Kathleen Sallen. Their frocks of apple green georgette had a low picoted waistline, from which fell the skirts of long uneven flares. Green georgette belts were fastened in front with a star-shaped buckle of diamente, and another brilliant buckle was worn on ono shoulder. Their green crinoline picture hats were trimmed under the brim with a flame-coloured posy, and they carried flame shower bouquets. The two little flower-girls, Joan Wheaton and Averill Smith, wore apple green georgette frocks, with high waistlines and long frilled skirts. Their green crinoline hats were trimmed with flame-coloured flowers, and they carried bouquets to tone. The bridegroom was attended by 1 Mr. Bruce Lawson as best man. and Mr. G. Meadows was groomsman. Mrs. Wheaton, mother of the bride, wore a frock of navy charm el ine, with fawn knife-pleated collar and rest, and small navy hat. She carried a bouquet of golden flowers. Mrs. Hart, the bridegroom’s mother, was in black floral chiffon taffeta, with a black hat.
