£1,200 DAMAGE

FIRE IN CHRISTCHURCH Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. Damage estimated at £ 1,200 was caused by a fire which broke out in the Colombo Street premises of the Don Tailoring Company and the City Buffet after midnight. The stock suffered most from scorching. The insurance on this was £1,150 in the Mercantile Office.
