CARNERA CARRIES ON
EARLY KNOCK-OUT FOR SWEDISH BOXER MEAL OF TWO DOZEN EGGS NEW YORK, Monday. In a boxing contest at Oklahoma City Prime Camera, 19st 131 b, knocked out Erickson, 16st 31b, in the second of 10 scheduled rounds, before a crowded house in the local Coliseum. Immediately before the bout Carnera devoured 24 eggs and refused coffee. He proceeded to knock out the giant Swede with his usual ease, after Erickson had forced the fighting briefly at the start. Camera will meet Jack McAuliffe at New Orleans on February 24.
