Jordan, 22, a resident of Hawera, when returning home on his motor-cycle after visiting Te Kuiti received, severe head injuries as the result of colliding with a motor-car driven by Mr. R. D. Peterson, a motormechanic of Wellington. The acci dent occurred on the Te Kuiti-New Plymouth road, about four miles past Pio Pio, on Monday afternoon. _ J° r ‘ ] i an Was brought into the Te Kuiti Hospital. He 'was still unconscious at a late hour tonight. Mr. Peterson s car was proceeding toward Te Kuiti, when the motor-cycle hit the front mudguard of +he car and tlie young man was apparently caught by the door handle. ’ The injured man is an employee of the National Bank at Hawera.
